Over a century’s development, WCSP now has 15,000 m² teaching buildings and laboratory spaces alongside the West China Bell Tower and the Lotus Pond. The school has seven departments and two centers, namely, Department of Medicinal Chemistry, Department of Pharmaceutics, Department of Natural Medicinal Chemistry, Department of Pharmacology, Department of Clinical Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Administration, Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis, Department of Biopharmaceutics, Central Laboratory of Modern Pharmaceutical Experiment, and Analytical Center. Under the school supervision, there are branches such as the press office of West China Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Specimen Herbarium, and the Pharmaceutical Botanic Garden to support teaching and research.
